First Week

Greetings!

Whew! The first week of school has really flown by! Room 128 is again full of the buzz of learning, community building, and establishing routines. Students are doing a great job using their Daily Choice Folder in the morning before specials, reading independently, transitioning to math class, and of course many other things.

Next week we will continue to build our reading stamina, begin writer's workshop, pretesting for our Words Their Way spelling program, continue growing in math, AND starting science! It's going to be busy. We also have library, technology, and a principal visit.

Many students have brought in items for our wall and many continue to bring in materials. Students have two more weeks to bring in special photos/objects to share with the class.
