October 19, 2009

Today we had art for our special. we went to library during LA and met in our book clubs to work on our who, what, where packets. Then we had guidance and practiced our ways to stop teasing. After lunch we went to math and we had a surprise fire drill. Then Mr. Lee came into our room to talk to us about Battle of the Books. It sounds like a lot of fun and lots of us are doing it. Mrs. H ended the day talking about the swine flu shot and our read aloud The Westing Game.

Today our special was would language and PE. In PE we versed NKE. In language arts we read 2 books. For lunch we had super nacho meet or turkey ranch wrap. In math we made houses.

Today we had art. At art we learned about a famous artist. Next we had L.A. Then we went to recess. Then we had MATH!!!! We did 16 pages in a hour and a half. during science we did our
writing about drugs and alcohol. Don't forget to do your homework!!!

we had gym today. for reading we did seances. in math we did suduko. In science we began working on our persuasive papers for our high school selves. We learned about topic sentences and transition sentences. We have a new student! Her name is Cordillia and she is from Madison. We're really glad she's in our class!

For our special we had music. There we banged on instruments. We went to the Wayne and Dee Ace farm today too. It was a blast! We got to see lots of animals and eat cookies. The FFA put it on for us. Then in the afternoon we had math and wrote our thank you cards to the the Ace family.
We don't have school tomorrow.

Today we had gym and Spanish. For lunch we had pancakes and french toast sticks. For science we watched a slide show. Today we talked with the FFA people. Today Mrs. Hedstorm is reading a Halloween book to us.

Our October read aloud is 'The Westing Game." The kids seem to really like it. Reminder of our farm trip tomorrow to wear warm clothes and old shoes. Also, remember to bring back your October Reading Logs tomorrow as well!

Hello to all. In language arts we are reading mysteries And stuff.We had Gym for our special We Journals We had to do pages 30-37 in our journal also The computer crashed and Emily turned it back on.In science we are going to write letters to high school us. Our homework we have is to read for thirty-minutes min.For lunch we had pizza or bbq ribs.
